Jim 2 on Android

Finally! The best visual novel in Spanish is out for Android platforms: Jim del espacio exterior 2 is its name and you can download it from this link:

To install it, remember that in your phone, some "Developers options" should be enabled. If you don´t know what I´m talking about, don´t bother try it. I don´t want to be responsible for a broken terminal. Just wait some time. Who knows? Maybe in a future I will have a Google developer account and the game will be available on Google Play (for free, of course).

But, what is exactly Jim 2? As I said before, it is a visual novel developed with Renpy, the best tool you can find out there to make these kind of games. I wrote the visual novel around 7 years ago so don´t be too cruel with the story or the graphics. I was drunk almost the 80% of the time so it´s a miracle that I finished the game.

Let´s think that you are going to download a little everyday miracle instead of a crappy game.

Jim 2 continues the story of the gamebook: "Jim del Espacio Exterior", that you can find online here:

                http://jimdelespacioexterior.blogspot.com

A "choose your own adventure" story starring by a policeman of the Espacio Exterior 1, the main police station of the galaxy. What else can I say? It´s funny, it has sex... well, actually, it hasn´t. You know, there are only static images and lots of texts, but a few of those images have boobs, so you will be able to jerk off with them without moral dilemmas.

Remember that Jim 2 is also available on Linux, Mac and Windows.

If when you install the game in your computer, tablet or mobile phone, you have any problem... I´m sorry. It´s not my fault. You should always pay for the games so you would have some kind of insurance for these situations. But trust me, I installed the game in some of my own devices and I did not have any issues at all.

Nuclear Throne [ENG]

Nuclear Throne, probably the best game of 2015, is a 2D top-down arcade developed by the indie company Vlambeer and published on PlayStation 4, Mac and Microsoft Windows, after two years on the Early Access section of Steam. Our goal is simple: controlling one of four mutants the player can select at the start, we have to kill all the enemies at the different levels that separate us from the Nuclear Throne. The levels are randomly generated every time we start a game and are grouped into seven different areas.

So far, we could be talking about one of the hundreds of indie games on Steam that are published every year and languish in the virtual shelves of Valve. But this is not the case because if you play it, you will be unable to give up, it does not matter how many times the death takes its toll or how the frustration of being defeated again and again take over your being to the point of wanting to throw the controller to your TV or monitor. So, what makes this game great?

It is difficult to answer that question, otherwise the recipe would be replicated ad aeternum and we would have tons of great successes every month. However, I think I can give some hints of what, I think in my humble opinion, are their best features.

First of all, it is a fast game, very fast, both in its approach and in its development. The games are
designed to last for no more than one hour, and the action in each of its levels is frenetic. This means that, although more often than we like, we will bite the dust thanks to a bullet that we were not able to dodge, we will want to play one more game each time the Game Over message will appear on our screen. And nevertheless, as any progress we achieve during a game will be lost at death, it will be easy to turn off the computer if the duty, or more attractive activities, call us.

Yes, during the various maps that we have to complete, when we kill the enemies, ranging from scorpions to heavily armed vultures, they leave behind a handful of bills. Upon reaching a certain amount of them, we will level up our character and when we pass to another map we will be able to select a mutation that will give us a new skill, ranging from increasing our health to make the bullets go slower.

Another of the most prominent features is the chance to unlock new characters, weapons and accessories for them. This make the game highly replayable. You cannot stop playing until see the complete roster of characters unlocked. Therefore, unlike other games, reach the end of Nuclear Throne will not mean the end of our interest in it.

There is also the possibility to play cooperatively with a friend, but only locally. In any case, fun is guaranteed.

A game, after all, highly recommended for anyone who only have a few minutes to relax after a hard day's work.

Terranigma

Everyone has a place to go back when we are worried about our everyday problems, a place associated with our childhood, with good times plenty of imagination and fun, like a house in the tree, the park where we got the first kiss, a book that taught us how to dream, or, why not?, a video game. Terranigma is one of those places. Apart from that is an action RPG for Super Nintendo, developed by the Japanese company Quintet in 1996 and distributed by Enix, shortly before it merged with Square Soft.

Terranigma is not only the story of Ark, a naughty boy who lives in the village of Krysta, whose curiosity causes that his neighbors and friends are turned into statues of glass, is an experience that remains in the memory of those who play the game by their precious graphics and evocative melodies.
To save his people, Ark must leave the safety of his home and get into a world dominated by five inhospitable towers hiding a big secret: the resurrection of the planet Earth. Defeat the enemies that rule over each tower, cause the rise of a new continent. In his fight for the lifes of his friends, Ark discover that the fate of the humanity is in his hands. He will understand that the goal is no longer to find a solution for his people, but to help the human race to take his place on the planet.

Terranigma is a classic rpg where the level of Ark will be increased by killing a huge variety of enemies: wild animals, ghosts, soldiers, witches, golems... We can improve our equipment and our skills with better weapons that we will find in some dungeons, health and magic potions, magic rings to summon flames and beams of light and a myriad of items that will help us survive the vast maps that make up this adventure.

It takes SNES hardware to its limits with detailed graphics inspired in japanese comics and the use of Mode 7 in the open worlds that offers a false feeling of depth in them.

It is not a difficult game. An Experienced player can complete it without die a single time. Maybe it is not a challenge but it does not matter. While you are playing it, youwill feel inside a tale where you choose the end. Enjoy an absorbent story and a vibrating soundtrack that will make you dream with a world where the magic is the king and the dreams come true. Enjoy Terranigma.
